Macbook 4.1, A1181, 2008
I've searched and checked previous pages for an answer, no joy.
My Macbook makes an odd 'plink' noise every now and then. I've tried timing it to see if it's related to battery charge level, because I run the MB from the adaptor most of the time. The noise comes from the upper right corner of the MB base, in the region of the power on/off button.
Is this a normal operating noise; or to what might it be related?
Update - the noise is occurring every twenty minutes.
