Hi,
I was trying to update my OS when i realised the progress bar wasn't moving. i stupidly restarted it and now my disk is damaged beyond repair...i stupidly didnt back it up for ages and there are some important files on there, when i click 'open disk image' under the install disks disk utility i can see that my files are still there so they do still exist, however i am in the setting to chose a disk image therefore cannot move them to my external harddrive. how do i move them safely to an external harddrive when i cannot boot?
Thanks
