WD Passport Issue with Mac

I can easily drag files out of my passport into my itunes. But the problem is I want to store music on my passport and it won't let me drag anyfiles into the passport from my mac. it works fine on a PC.

How can I solve my issue?

Your Mac's Specs
MBP 2.3 Ghz 4GB RAM 860 GB SSD, iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive 1TB
Most likely it's formated as NTFS. Macs can't write to NTFS without some modifications or through the use of third party programs like Paragon NTFS, or NTFS-3G.

If you are running Snow Leopard you can do some script work to enable NTFS. You can google for this.
