Keeping my iMAC Clean

I'm new to iMAC and was wondering are there any items in the system where I should be deleting items to keep my iMAC clean and running smooth/fast? I do clean the cache after being on the web but beyond that I'm not sure if there is anything I should be doing.

Welcome to mac. Macs usually run fine without much messing with, but there are programs like "Maintenance" and "App Delete" that will help keep your iMac "clean".

Also, please consider the free program "Onyx". It does all the repair related tasks that you could ever want. Also, remember always leave at least 10 GB of hard drive space free. Anything below that, usually causes a slow down in performance.
