SSD on MacBook White ???

Does anybody know does macbook white 2010 support solid state drives. My current hdd is 5400 rpm 250 gb..with the ssd it would be more faster ..so if someone knows or tested itself please post.

Yes, your 2010 MacBook supports an SSD. You install it just like any other hard drive.

You might want to look at OWC Performance Upgrades; FireWire USB SATA Storage; Memory, more at OWC (No, I do not work for them, just a satisfied customer.) OWC has links to videos on how to install hard drives to different versions of Apple computers. You can also chat with their staff about what would work best, even if you buy the SSD somewhere else. Or you can look at: ww.ifixit.com/Guide for info on how to.

dont mean to hijack but i would like to do this too, however im new to mac, is there a mac equivalent to windows norton ghost that i can use to clone my macbooks current drive that i could then re image the new ssd drive.
