Not sure what I did wrong to have my first thread deleted. How do I delete my account?

What scam or spyware did I link to? I only used one of your built in smileys.

That Carnell guy is not me. I posted a hello post yesterday, with a brief paragraph explaining why I purchased a Mac. Never mind though, I don't need spam from replies to posts I cannot see, and folks calling me a spammer because my name is similar to some other guy. Thanks for the warm hospitality.

You're sure that was on this forum?

That was unfortunate. I don't usually see things like that on this forum. Innocent until proven guilty...

I saw the post but can't find it now.

It was strange, but for some reason your post wasn't the first post in the thread. Another totally off topic (and kind of weird) post was first even though it wad time stamped about 20 minutes after yours.

Has to be some sort of BBS software glitch.

I remember replying to your first post. It seems that somehow your post was inadvertently removed along with another post that had tagged on to the beginning of yours. When that post was removed it also removed your post.

This is no fault of yours and I apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to continue participating, and I once more extend our welcome to you.

Thanks for understanding.

There's always an explanation for everything. We can assume all we want, but until the facts are in, well, you know what they say...

........what? He gave the explanation, do you think there's some giant conspiracy?

We're pretty much done with the investigation, I mean unless you want to hire Hercule Poirot to keep looking. ;)

Yes. I quoted it. What came next (in my post) was in reference to what went before.
