I've searched six pages of this forum for an answer, none forthcoming.
Background
Since the series of serious>severe earthquakes that have hit my home province of Canterbury in New Zealand, the local authorities have set up several wifi hotspots for use by people whose homes have been made uninhabitable or otherwise do not have their usual means of connecting to the internet.
Is there wifi locator software for Leopard OS?
I've checked with Google, plus Apple's Widget resource base, but everything seems to require Snow Leopard minimum. My Macbook is operating Leopard 10.5.8. Can someone advise me about locating wifi hotspots with Leopard OS?
