I only have one file in my iCal program. Suddenly it shows a little TV screen to the right of the File Name with a "1" in it. What does that mean and how do I make it go away? Thanks in advance.

Red "number dot" on the Dock's iCal icon

I forgot to add... on the iCal icon on my Dock, the icon has a red dot with a number one in it. Any idea what it means and how I address it? Thank you.

The red badge is indicating that you have an invitation. Click the envelope in the bottom left hand corner to see what it is.

As for your first question, I've no idea what this "TV screen" thing is but I'm assuming it's just the badge next to your calendar which is signifying the same thing as the badge on the dock icon.

iCal Badge Question

Thank you very much!! Now I know to call it a "badge." It looked like a little TV screen to me, so that's what I was calling it. It'll be a badge from now on.

Thanks again.
