Hey everyone, just a quick one...

I'm looking to buy a new USB flash drive, preferably 16GB+. I've no idea which brands are better than others so any recommendations would be appreciated. Obviously the faster the better...

Thanks in advance! :)

Another vote for the SanDisk Cruzer Slice. They are sold by capacity and not speed.

I bought 2 x 16gb and 2 x 8gb USB flashdrives to backup store my photo's

But even being fast they are so slow....

2 hours to download 16gb on USB2

In the end I went back to DVD / CD storage, 10 mins at most for 4.5gb with Toast

USB drives now only used for incremental backup of docs.

Another vote for Sandisk here. Have a 2GB, two 4GB's, an 8GB and a 16GB and all work first rate and on any computer I have ever used them with.

Use the SanDisk Cruzer also. But you're right, awful slow. Took an hour last week to move 6GB data onto one.

The thing I have found about SanDisk drives is they always seem to work. Some other brands would not work with some systems and let me down. That is why I stick with SanDisk.
