Cannot find a calculator app (other than widget)

Hi all,
Perhaps I'm nuts, but that's another thread. LOL!

I did my research, including here, and at MacUpdate, as well as at WareSeeker - Search and Free Download Mac Software - but I cannot seem to find a simple calculator app to download for 10.5, other than what is in my widgets - which is basically useless, (unless I'm missing something,) since you cannot have your widgets up at the same time as another file which needs something you need to calculate.

(I did see on the threads something about recovering a 10.5 calculator app, but to my knowledge I've never had one, and all searches including on the HD itself yield no calculator.)

Any suggestions? I have had to resort to using my Iphone, but I'd prefer a (preferably free) Mac OSx 10.5.8 application which I can just put into my Dock.

There is a calculator app in the applications folder! You Can change int from a basic to scientific calculator! If it's not there every version of OSX I have ever used has that app stock. I am not talking the widget either. Please check and get back to us.

For OS X Leopard, Calculator 4.2 is the up to date version. You should have it, or, if it was deleted, you should be able to download it from Apple.

You can use Spotlight as a basic calculator.

And if you press enter it will open Calculator
