I'm a DJ in the Philadelphia area and I run Serato on my 2008 MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.6.7, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB Ram.) Recently, and at random times during performances the capslock key LED will start flickering and the MacBook will stop responding to keyboard & trackpad commands. The only button that works is the Power button. So I have to force it to reboot to get keyboard control again. I have 2 weeks left of my Apple Care but I was curious to know if anyone has had this issue before? I've never spilled any liquids on the keyboard.

Thanks,

Aiden Scott

Take it on in to Apple before your Apple Care expires. It sounds like you may need a new keyboard and\or possibly a new keyboard cable. Replacing it shouldn't take them very long. You can probably wait for it unless they happen to be real busy.
