I am upgrading a room full of G5 macs to a newer version of OSX. Is there any easy way to do a deployment or something along those lines so i don't have to sit down at every machine to do the upgrade? there are 25 machines in the room. Right now I'm working off two usb drives and a disk and would like it to go faster. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

System Image Utility is what I use. It is part of OS X server.

Not sure I'd buy SL now for $299 when Lion Server will be out later next month for $79.98.

I know you want to get this task accomplished and my answer doesn't really help you make a decision but the fact of the matter is simply, System Image Utility is a commonly used method to deploy images to many Mac computers.

Perhaps this info will help you plan for the next time this task needs to be accomplished.

I don't have a lot of experience with this so take what I say with a grain of salt. I was going to suggest something like a NetRestore setup but some of what I have read suggests it may be past it's prime. Take a look at http://http://www.deploystudio.com/Home.html
