- 2GHz Intel Core Duo 2GBs Ram on 10.6.8
So, I have a Late 2006 model MacBook Pro and the CD drive is having many problems burning. (I already bought the CD that has brushes did it many times and to little avail.) I, also, have a early 2008 model MacBook Pro that the logic board crapped out on. (If its a call back issue I will never know cause it was givin' to me and I don't want the finger pointed at me if it is stolen.)
Now, I have taken apart my mac many many times, replaced Hard Drives and fans. But when I take the 2008 CD drive and put it in to my working 2006 MBP and I turn it on, just gives me a black screen, nothing happens, I have double checked ram, connections to the CD drive, hard drive and everything. Anything I can do?
