Apple updates Thunderbolt firmware for eligible Macs

Apple today released a Thunderbolt Firmware Update, the first one since the technology was introduced, through its Support Downloads page and Software Update for all eligible Macs, including the latest models of MacBook Pros and iMacs. The high-speed I/O port, which offers two-channel, bi-directional 10Gbps networking for data, audio, video and power, is being rolled out across the Mac lineup, including a rumored forthcoming refresh of the MacBook Air....
