Batching file names

I have to convert up to 309 individual 33.6mb files to a .tod is there a faster way of doing this?
I'm changing the files one at a time by "file info"-"Name" and adding .tod but this will take to long, I'm only just learning on my imac, so I don't know all the short cuts yet.

There are lots of free file renaming utilities that will change just the extension for you. Here's a couple:
