Hi everyone. My name is Pat and I am new to the forum and new to Mac's. I have a been a long time Intel user for many years. First Mac I have owned.
I think I have a simple question that has probably been worked over so a simple yes no is probably in order. I purchased the MBP 13 inch machine with the 2.7 GHz I7 processor.
Is is necessary to use a third party controller to manage the fan speed on this unit? Will doing so (REALLY) extend the life of the computer components?
