I imported my Outlook calendar via my Gmail account and now iCal sends an email reminder to Gmail for every event, of which I have many.

Is it possible to remove all alarms at once or do I have to do each one separately?

I think you have to remove them one at a time. I don't know of any iCal commands that act on all Events. (that is, ones already set up)

Way... way too many specs to list.
Under Preferences >General make sure "Add a default alarm to all new events an invitations" is unchecked. You can go under advanced, and select turn off all alarms... but I believe you'd still have to change them individually before turning them on.

also login to your Google account, click on the triangle next to your calendar name and select Notifications.

In there you probably have the the default reminder under Event reminders. Delete it.
