Not sure if this is iOS5 or iCloud, so this might not be the correct Forum.
It has been indicated that people who purchase a new iPhone will be able to setup the device and use it without needing to connect to a computer and iTunes. This is being advertised as some marvellous new feature.
Admittedly it will be a huge improvement over the current requirement with an iPhone, but is not that revolutionary. It is simply what happens with any other make of mobile phone. For example, buy an Android phone, insert SIM, switch on, enter Gmail address and password, instantly you have calendar, contacts, appointments, etc. All added to the device. Only an iPhone requires that you take it home and connect it to your computer before you use it.
Not trying to diss Apple - just putting things into context
