Apps Not Compatible With Lion

Two iMacs: 10.7.5 2010 Core i3, 8Gigs RAM, and a 10.7.5 2011 Core i7, 16 Gigs RAM with an SSD
I know that the compatibility list for Lion can be found at:

App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps

However, if you have some Apps that do not seem compatible with Lion what do you do? Trash them before you install Lion, or install Lion and still see if they might work?

There's no need to trash them off the bat. Leave them be and wait for an update, or look for an alternative and then trash them.
