Hi all,

The hard drive of my stupid Dell PC decided to completely crash, which is why I now made the move to Mac :) …the tough part is to try and recover all my data…

One of the problems I'm facing is how to get all my iPhone content (Music, Videos, Apps,…) onto the Mac. Is there a trick for that? I read before that if I just plug it in, it will erase all data, rather than copy it…

Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks! Did you use it once to restore everything from your iPhone? I read through it on their website and it looks like media can be copied, but not sure about the apps. I also didn't see a functionality that just lets you restore everything at once. Would be great if anyone had used this or a similar tool for some 'disaster recovery' from the iPhone.

Not sure if that (the easy way) is worldwide yet or not.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
Highlight Purchased underneath Store on the sidebar.
At the bottom right, you'll have a Download Previous Purchases button.

Even without that, once signed into your account, you'll be able to re-download any app purchases.
