I own a graphic design company, and while I don't necessarily travel I do visit certain clients a few nights a week. It would be really nice to make design changes on site with them, instead of going home and emailing endless proofs back and forth.
At my home office I have the 27" Imac with these specs:
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
I upgraded the RAM to 16gb, but I think its overkill to the speed of the processor. Storage isn't a huge deal to have because I use external drives, but can the newer MacBook Pros compete with speed of the above machine, along with being able to run a lot of hours a day at times?
I am thinking I could sell my iMac to help with some of the costs, maybe even buy a refurb?
THANK YOU!!
