Can anyone confirm if mail 5 will allow hotmail to download folders? via exchange the way it does on iphone 4?

I know it wont on snow leopard but was curious for Lion?

As Lion has not gone public yet, no one really knows for sure what the core applications will be like. That includes Mail. We do know the Mail program has been changed but to what extent is unknown.

Lion should be available some time in July.

I would doubt it. Hotmail needs to open up IMAP for the desktop. It's a Hotmail issue, not an Apple issue.
