Format SanDisk Cruzer

Invested in an 8GB SanDisk Cruzer 8GB memory stick to keep Lion on after downloading. Formatted it as usual Mac OS Extended (Journalled) and set up as single partition undr GUID. SanDisk want me to download there own software and use that, My Vault etc. which is password protected. Not having used memory stick previously, the Mac OS Extended format sufficient?

That should be fine Harry. I intend to do the same thing myself but with a large SD and also a flash stick. Our new iMac has a SD slot.
