Hi all, I just noticed that the same file, when opened / viewed in different versions of illustrator has significant variations in color. Colors which have the same cmyk specifications in both versions appear much brighter on screen in illustrator 10. They both print as they appear on screen so printing the same file / colors in illustrator 10 comes out much brighter than it does from CS5.
Also, as well as being paler in CS5 the print-out also has lines running across it as if the ink was running out, but it isn't. Could that be because the printer is a bit old and not as compatible with CS5 (it's an HP1610 PSC).
Thanks for any help.
