Is this the right inverter cable for my white MacBook please?

hi everyone,
i have a question. recently my screen's back-light started to go out as i opened my MacBook's lid. it stays on for a bit but as i open it further it goes out, then comes on again as i carry on opening it - then off again. now it goes off pretty much if its open more than about a quarter of the way.
i think its the inverter cable that either needs pushing in a bit more or replacing.
if i am to open up my MacBook then i would like to know whether this

is the correct part (it says something about being the flat head type).
i have a white late 2008 macbook 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo machine.

I believe that is the correct part, however, to make double sure, go to the iFixit: The free repair manual site and compare the part number. You can also check the part number at the Mac Repair - Mac Parts and Service for Apple Macbook, iPhone, iPad web site.
