Ipad2 battery question

2016 Macbook Pro 512g.15" 16g.ram Ipad2Air 64gb wifi+4g Iphone 6s 64gig
Would it be a good idea to calibrate the Ipad battey as I would on my macbook pro? Such as draining to zero and then letting it fully charge. I have a tendency to only get to about 50% before I put on a charge.

According to Apple - you should run it down once a month. Honestly it has been hard to get my battery all the way down in one day.

I just use all of my iOS devices until I get down to first warning (20% on iPhone, 10% on iPad 2) and then I plug it for a charge..
