Hey hey..

Is there a way for me to make EVERY folder I open up arrange the files in the same way? If I move pictures around from folder to folder it's time consuming to have to go to EACH folder and change the "arrange by" settings so that my folders aren't spotty (this is in thumbnail mode obviously)..

any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

It's actually called Icon View, not thumbnail mode. That's only mentioned so others can find it.

You have to start at the top level, set it up, then open Show View Options and click the "use as defaults" button. This may not override windows that you've changed settings on before. You'll have to do some individually.
