Transfer of OS 10.4.11 Mail data to OS 10.5.8

iMac G5 PPC.

I just installed OS 10.5.8. Prior to installation i had backed up my previous OS 10.4.11 on an External Drive. I did an Erase and Install. I know, I know, I should have done an Archive and Install. How do I go about recovering or transferring my previous OS 10.4.11 Mail data to the new OS 10.5.8 Mail?

Your mail should still be on your backup disk in /Users/yourname/Library/Mail

Under Mails File menu you should be able to select Import Mailboxes and point it at the mail folder on your back-up disk
