Inexpensive MacBook for lion?

I don't have very much money currently, and am interested in purchasing a MacBook, so I was wondering what the most inexspensive MacBook that will be able to run lion is?

I would go no older than a used 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo MacBook. These are in the 3-4 year-old range...and if you're really lucky, you can get one for around $350 (assuming you're in the United States).

If you're talking new/refurbished...then this would be about the least expensive currently available (2.4ghz. MacBook, $849.00):

I think that the OP was looking for low cost.

This can be purchased for $829 ($20 bucks less than the MacBook I linked above):

...but I'm thinking a new 11" model MacBook Air will be a bunch more expensive.

I don't mean to derail, but I'm VERY curious how much longer the basic white MacBook will still be around with the 13" MBP's HUGE leap in performance over it and 11" Air being as stunning as it is (I haven't lusted after ANY computer like I do the 11" Air, and I'm a desktop guy at heart). My recent acquisition of the new iPad has re-focused my desires on a new 27" iMac, but still...an 11" Air with Sandy Bridge...:Blushing:

It's all about pricing when it comes to the basic MacBook. It's Apple's lowest cost entry into the portable mobile computing world (laptops/notebooks).

Of course if someone can get by with the lower cost iPad...then that would cost even less than a MacBook.
