Can someone tell me how to activate/access the camera on my Macbook pro remotely from my work pc, or an iphone or ipad. I'd like to use it as a security camera for home/office.

Thanks in advance for your help

Probably the easiest way would be to install a program called LogMeIn. It's a free VNC derivative which will give you full remote control over the computer -- including access to the camera.

Or you could install Skype, have it auto answer. Then all you have to do it call your Macbook from work.

The most useful app for me was iCam Source. Google it. You have to install it on the computer with the camera, and then you can access it from your iOS device or Web Browser, it's really good, and it's free.
