All joking aside though, I have enjoyed a wonderful year of iMac usage.... Wished I'd switched sooner

The "Switcher" area of Mac-Forums is actually a "sub-forum".

"Switcher" doesn't necessarily mean "newbie". It just means you switched to a Mac at some point, whether it was last week or ten years ago.

Yeah Im only joking about... I have found this forum invaluable. I visit it daily, and participate when appropriate.

I guess this thread is really just my way of saying that the first year went past very quickly and smoothly...

Out of curiosity, where did you buy the parts from? Reason I ask is I've been digging around Fry's (I-635 store) and I'm not impressed with their prices although they certainly have everything one would need to build a Windows gaming machine.
