I've tried several times to install Snow Leopard on my Crucial 128g SSD. I 'erase' my SSD using Mac 'journaled' , boot, start install, gets to point it starts coping software.... gives 'install failed' error...

Please help if you can...

edit: I assume this is a hardware problem... that is why I posted here.

I previously used this CD to install Snow Lpd on the 250 gig hard drive (oem) does this make a difference?

Using to install on another hard drive has no effect...
Before erasing (formatting MacOS extended, journaled), you need to partition the drive with GUID scheme.
Does that help?

Update:
1. Partitioned the disc using Druid Format (1 big partition)
2. Formatted the Disc using Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
3. Zeroed the disc

Installation got to about 60% ..... then failed....

I read some where.... to zero the disc several times, so I'll try that next.
