Mac Mail problem

The delete button is missing from the header bar. I am unable to find how to get it back. Any help please. Thanks

With Mail open go the the View menu an choose Customize toolbar. Another screen will appear with several buttons on it. Select the delete button and drag it anywhere in the toolbar.
