alright guys,

i have a macbook pro, late 2010 model, 15". it has been running ok until about 1 month ago, when sometimes when watching youtube videos (with the sound output coming from the internal built-in speakers of the computer), the video would lag and i would not be able to hear anything for a while. so then through system preferences under sound>output it was switching from internal speakers to headphones randomly, when i did not have any headphones plugged in. weird. do any of you know how to help me with this?:Blushing:

thanks,
shai:)

The small switch inside of the jack may be sticking or intermittent so that sometimes it "switches" to the internal speakers and other times the headphones. You can try using a strong toothpick to wiggle inside of the jack. That may or may not cure it. If it continues, take it to Apple and have them check it out.
