Hello, I have a 30gb iPod video that needs a new HDD. I have tried searching but all I seem to find is info about transforming my 30gb into a 80gb with 8mm drive and new back/jack/etc.
I replaced the mainboard a year ago and its currently #820-1763-A. I would like to replace the HDD (currently Toshiba MK300GAL) with is a Toshiba MK1231GAL. It is 1.8" - 5mm - ZIF - 120GB.
Does anyone know if this drive will work? Size / connector should work, they are listed as the same, but can my mainboard read all 120gb of it? Or is there a GB limit that it will recognize?
Thank you,
Chad
