Hi,
I have a sony Blu-ray disc player (BDP-S370) and it currently doesn't have a wireless adaptor. I cant unfortunately connect it to an ethernet connection because there isn't one available near me, so I am trying to share the internet from my Macbook via ethernet. However I have been having problems with this.
I have shared internet connections before but on this occasion every time I try the blu-ray player connects to my mac but is unable to use the internet. On the mac I get this notice "Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet."
If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
