right click on the top bar of Safari and then Customize Toolbar

Drag what ever you want onto the toolbar or just drag the default set at the bottom up there.

Sorry to be such a pain but I am new to mac. I can't find the default at the bottom of page. When i try to drag the whole screen moves.
