iPod Touch 4th Gen HELP

Hi,
Im new to the forums so i'm sorry if i do anything wrong.
I bought a iPod Touch 4th Gen 8gb and received it about a week ago via UPS from bestbuy. And since, its ben broken. Badly. Here are some pics:

Any ideas what to do next?

There are plenty of places online to get the parts you need, as well as repair shops that you can send it to. My guess is that you will be in the $50 to $100 range for parts and repair.

Yeah, i did it myself. Im so awesome at holding things,right?
Yukon that helped a lot, and i WISH it was UPS.
Im not sure i can repair it myself because with my luck I would destroy it.
Apple said $99 to fix (they replace it with a refurbished model of the same generation)
Is apples price too much?

I also might do it myself. What parts would I need? I know the LCD and glass but would I also have to replace the front pannel because of the missing part? (Easily visible in pic 1)

Never mind, i know what to do. If someone wants to they can close this up

The $99 doesn't seem like a bad idea, imo either. There is no telling what other damage might have happened in the process. And you never know, if you could break something during the repairing of the device either.
