WWDC 2011 Keynote Thread

Hey everyone,

So I started this thread as a discussion place for the WWDC keynote happening later today at 1PM EST (the best timezone), 10PM PST, 6PM in the UK, 7PM in western Europe and between 1AM and 3AM on Tuesday for our Aussie members.

If you're interested in getting updates from a "liveblog", you have a few options:
Live Streams:
  • UStream
  • Apple (link to come if I can find one/Apple decides to live stream it)
If anyone has any more sources, don't hesitate to let me know and I'll add it to the list.

As for M-F's coverage, you can post here or join our IRC discussion happening at the times listed above (more info here).

At least now we know why Hajas was recently hired, there are several elements in the new iOS notifications look EXACTLY like MobileNotifier.

iMessages = BBM for iOS. Very neat and actually a surprise feature that was not leaked or rumored upon.

What if your hard drive dies and you have ONE Mac. What do you do? How to you install? Airport extreme cloud router? I don't plan on a AE router.
