Synch with Peripherals

Your Mac's Specs
iMac 24, 2.4 Ghz, OS X 10.11
After installing additional memory on my iMac, I'm having a problem synching my imac with my MacAir and IPod.
At the Sync box, no additional computers are listed and the entry indicates "Never Synchronized." How do I get things back in synch (normal)?
