Hello all,

I go to a small college and am having some problems with the wireless network. I'm new to the macworld and am not sure whats going on.

I have a macbook running MAC OS X 10.6.7.

We have a hidden, password protected wifi. My problem is, that my airport is seeing the network as a computer to computer device, therefore I can't connect to the internet!! My wife has a PC and it connects fine, also, other mac users on campus are not having this issue. It use to connect fine, and it changed on its own.

I have tried going into the wireless preferences and deleting the network name, and starting from scratch, but no luck. One time i had a friend do the same thing and it worked fine for a few days, and it went back to only seeing it as a device. I can connect to other wife spots fine, its just this one i'm having troubles with.

any help would be WAY WAY APPRECIATED!
