Which dvd drive is in my 13" white macbook 1.83ghz

Hi

Ive got a white 1.83ghz 13 " macbook. My superdrive isnt working so im planning on buying a dual layered burner for it. Can anyone tell me which one i will need as theres a sata and a ide one. I seen this one on ebay
would this one be ok? Does anyone have a link to where maybe i could get one for a good price?

I would personally avoid buying one from eBay unless you're positive that it will work and if it doesn't, can return it for a refund.

The best place to buy a superdrive for your MB is from the folks at Other World Computing. They're Mac specialists and only sell the best in Mac hardware and memory. Go to this LINK.

MCE Technology has them as well for $99 currently.

I'm living in the UK guys. So needing to try get one here. Is the one I posted a link to suitable for my MacBook.?

I am all about ebay I think it is a great place to buy parts but you computers superdrive might be pata not sata. I am not sure. Click the apple logo in the top left -> about this mac-> more info and check if it is listed under Serial ATA or just ATA. If it is just ATA you will need a different drive than the one you found.

Cheers for your help mate. I had a look and it is ATA. Any idea where I could pick one up, looking for a dual layered burner.
