I have a Macbook Pro. After a 'Macguard' scan I was told my Macbook is infected. What viral software should I use to protect my Macbook?

MacGuard is a trojan. It is trying to fool you into entering your card details. There is no infection, other than MacGuard.

boot into safe mode, (hold shift at start up) and delete "MacGuard" from startup items (system preferences - accounts) and from your applications folder.

you dont need AV software. you just need to look after your password and be careful about what you are entering it for.

I only hope you didn't pay for it.
