• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Actually I have installed it twice, and there's no sign of it anywhere. The install took at least twenty minutes and said it had been installed successfully but it comes up nowhere on the search. I notice I have LiveType in my applications folder which I don't recall seeing before, but where's the gyroscope icon?

I didn't need it until now so when I got FCP I only installed what I needed at the time because I was low on space, but I now have a brand new MacBook Pro and plenty of space and I need to animate a map.

Am I missing something?

No, it doesn't come up anywhere in the search box. Very odd.

Shouldn't need to be installed 3 times, I'm gonna have to go back to the Apple shop aren't I.

Yes, I'm no stranger to installations. There's something not right somewhere. I'll restart and try again in the morning.
