Auto Numbering and Outlines in Word for Mac

How do I turn off the auto-numbering and outlines in Word for Mac.

I'm trying to make out some tests for my classes and I'm sick of fighting with what Word keeps thinking I need to do as opposed to what I want to do.

I found it. When that little "lightning" icon appears I can click on it and disable that feature.
