Hi

I want to upgrade my old Macbook White 1,1, 1.83 GHz Core Duo from 2006 with a larger HD - so I raced out and got a second hand one with Snow Leopard installed - it came out of a MB Pro unibody.
Tried installing it in the old MB but can't seem to get it to work. A big question mark comes up on the screen when I turn it on.
- Will this harddisk work with my MB? It is Fujitsu MJA2160BH FFS G1 160 GB. It does not have the four jumper pins as the old HD has.
- Will Snow Leopard not run on my MB?

Thank in advance for any help!

Your Mac's Specs

It will not have the drivers for your Mac. With it being a 160GB drive, that's bound to be the original drive with a version of SL that only has drivers for the equipment it was shipped with.

You'll need to purchase your own copy of SL.
