New macbook pro 15" battery life

hey guys I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether the battery of life of the new macbook pro 15" is really 8+ hours

It really depends on what you're doing. I've not gotten 8 hours, but with a bluetooth radio going, wireless ethernet, etc.. I can't complain. It'll normally run around 6 hours or so for me.

ok thanks. So it's about 6 hrs with all the going on? Sounds good to me, my PC laptop can run no more than 3 hours no matter what
