My motherboard died on my MBP so I took out the hard drive and just bought a HDD enclosure. I was wondering if I could retrieve my photos that were inside iPhoto application or not?

You could use migration assistant to bring everything back, including every application and everything in your user account

I don't have another Mac to transfer it to. It will either be transfered to Ubuntu or Windows 7. Any way to do it that way?
