has anyone tried installing some kingston hyperx memory into the 27" imac?

im curious if the modules phisically fit into the memory compartment considering the have a bigger size because of the heatsinks.

thanks

I wouldn't even consider trying to put them in there. Even if they did fit, having a bigger heatsink means they are taking more space than intended, and these iMacs are VERY tight quarters and you could actually be blocking airflow, negating the point of those heatsinks.
