I have a MacBook Pro that was working fine, until the top case was damaged and I purchased another. Now that all the components have been moved to the new top case, it will not do anything. I am wondering if there is anyway to test the logicboard? On a windows machine you can just basically hook up the power supply and see if the fan comes on and know there is power to the board. Is this possible with mac? The keyboard contains the power button, so I have some concerns that maybe a circuit was damaged there. I'm at a loss for what to try???? Help!

When you got a new topcase was that including the keyboard or are you using the same keyboard. What happened to it in the first place?
